When you’re busy being present with your family and friends on your wedding day, I’m making sure:

All the hopes and ideas leading up to the day are carefully understood so that my documentary approach feels seamless to you and your loved ones.

How do we get to that point?

Contact: we set up a meeting. Whether it’s a call, Zoom, in person. This is like a first date, except all pressure is off. I want to get to know you, as individuals and as a couple. You also will get to know me and how I do my job. I will also ask you lots of questions, things you’ve thought about and didn’t think about. From there, we create a rough timeline on how ideally the day will look like.

After you book me, we will have another date. This one will be fun because it will be full of excitement and you’ll know more of what you want from this relationship. See, I want to sit down with you so you’re not a stranger to me and I’m not a stranger to you. I show up on your wedding day with all the information already in hand. I’m not walking into your home and introducing myself for the first time, you already know me and I know you.

Approach: This makes my job easy (and so much fun!) I will know who is important to you, and which moments mean the most to you. I also know the day will surprise you, and that is why it’s essential that you’re comfortable in my presence. I want you to let loose, to live the day and all the beauty it is about to offer you and not worry about me lurking in the background. So much so, that I’ve heard from all my past couples how I’m barely noticed, yet I happened to documents both moments you deeply felt, and moments you just happen to forget (because damn, the day is jam packed with goodies and our brain can only retain so much information!)

I also make sure I step in when I’m needed, when your dress needs fluffing, when your dad’s tie is a little undone. When you’re alone and need some guidance…
