I wanted to sit and explain this shoot but then I thought its best that you just watch it as it is. Loved photographing Lina and Chris, the lighting, weather, time of year and location fell together so nicely. I really hope you enjoy! Another blog post of them will be coming up!

There was a snow fall before this one, but it was only for a morning and barely lasted. Today, it snowed for most of the day and even though I'm absolutely dreading the long winter, I got a little excited and started craving hot chocolate and all those Christmas-y things. Hope you enjoy these!
So yesterday I found out that today would be the last warm day of the fall season, that meant any day after today will be with wind chill, snow or some sort of winter-y weather. SO, my friend and I decided to salvage the lovely weather and walk around uptown (I think it's uptown, or close enough lol) went to this french cafe and it was quite lovely. Anyway that really made me just want to do one of those let me take a few shots here and there and document the day. I'm set out to really do more of these, they're one of my favorite things to do. Enjoy!
Looking back several months ago, this project really stands out to me. I got into it not really knowing what I was getting into but Fiorella (the master mind behind the idea) was working on her thesis and asked me to photograph women who she would be interviewing asking them all sorts of questions that basically summarize to: what does your hair mean to you? I got to sit on answers that deeply touched me as a woman, and I also got to meet some lovely lovely ladies and one adorable little girl. Hope you enjoy!
I've been wanting to do a shoot of this sort for a very long time now, something that shows intimacy and in some ways, vulnerability. I knew Aleksandraa would be awesome for this because of her soft features and she definitely was. These photos are very important to me and I really hope you enjoy them. x
These two! I could say a lot about these two, but you definitely know you're fortunate when you work with people who you know have the best hearts. Gaby contacted me about a month ago wanting to have a shoot for their save the date photo. Since then we've dealt with insane heat, crazy rain, but honestly a lot of fun. I really hope our paths cross again in the future. Press play and hope you enjoy!
Since I got to Jordan I kind of had my camera tucked away untouched. My family and I went on a short trip and I couldn't put my camera down. It was a really nice boost of inspiration. Make sure you listen to this amazing amazing track by my cousin as you scroll through the photos. You won't regret it.
It's interesting how as a photographer, I started with lots of self portraits because I felt like I had a lot to say. Nothing really changed but I started to get this craving for documenting the small details in the day. It started when I was in Jordan in December for the first time after 5/6 years, so it was special. Since then it has been growing.
Yesterday I finished my last exam, it had finally stopped raining so I grabbed my camera and went for a walk. Here are a few photos.
This is the first time Katherine and Gabriel experience a full on photo shoot that is concentrated on them and they were naturals and absolutely lovely together. We headed to Kensington Market, despite the horrible cold Toronto has been going through, it was absolutely fun and they totally braved through the cold. Enjoy!
